Franklin, OH : Boy, driver injured after a crash in Franklin Township on Sunday morning, December 13, 2015
A little boy was flown to the hospital Sunday morning following a serious accident.
It happened at Cobblestone Drive and Franklin-Treton Road after 9 a.m.
According to OSP, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Franklin-Trenton Road when it lost control around an ‘S’ curve and slammed into a utility pole.
A mailman, who was in the area at the time, saw the crash called 911.
The driver of the vehicle, Dylan McIntosh, 22, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. CareFlight was called to the scene and airlifted McIntosh’s seven-year-old son to Dayton Children’s Hospital.
McIntosh’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening. His son is in critical condition.
Troopers said McIntosh was not wearing a seat belt. They said alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor in the crash.
Neighbors tell 2 NEWS the area is a problem spot for crashes.
The accident remains under investigation.
