Mobile, AL : Pursuit from Mississippi ends with crash on Interstate 10 near mile marker 7 Monday, November 3, 2014

Authorities say three people accused of leading police on a chase that ended in a fiery crash in Mobile have been taken into custody. Alabama State Troopers spokesman Kevin Cook tells AL.com the crash happened on Interstate 10 near mile marker 7 Monday. Pascagoula Mississippi Police Captain Shannon Massey says the chase began in Mississippi after a driver fled police who tried pulling them over. Massey says passengers threw various items from the car as the driver fled police. The suspects' identities haven't been released. Massey says it's unclear why the car was being stopped, and details on the items that were thrown from the car weren't immediately available.
