SPRINGFIELD, MO : Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a crash killing a pedestrian in Springfield on Wednesday, 8th November 2023

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian and a pick-up truck near where Chestnut Expressway meets with Interstate 44.

Troopers identified the victim as James Hamilton, 47, of Springfield.

The intersection of Chestnut Expressway and Broadview Street has two convenience store/truck stop businesses on either side of the road right before you reach the Interstate 44 interchange and it was in that area in front of the Flying J truck stop before sunrise on Wednesday morning that the pedestrian-truck crash occurred along the west side of the road.
