A single-vehicle crash in Cleburne County claimed the life of a Region 8 man.

The crash occurred at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday on State Highway 337, just east of Little Dunham Drive, according to Arkansas State Police.

Scottie Paul Heifner, 38, of Heber Springs was eastbound, coming out of a curve, when his 1995 Chevy left the road and hit a tree.

The weather condition at the time of the crash was clear and the road was dry, ASP reported.
