Chocolay Township , MI : Two people were injured after Two Car Collision along M - 28 on saturday, december 27th 20141

A two car collision on M-28 sends at least two people to the hospital on Saturday.

It happened just after 12:00pm on Saturday on M-28 in Chocolay Township, five miles from the intersection of US-41 and M-28. According to police, the driver of a red Subaru Forester likely lost control of their vehicle and spun out into the other lane, when a silver Nissan Xterra crashed into the passenger side of the Subaru.

It is unknown at this time if there were any other passengers in the vehicles, but both drivers were taken to UP Health System-Marquette for treatment. Their names and extent of injuries are unknown at this time.

Chocolay Township Police responded to the accident along with Chocolay Township Fire,
