Wauwatosa, WI : 2 woman injured in parking lot crash at Mayfair Mall on Thursday morning, January 1, 2015

Two women were in a car that plowed through a fence and then fell off a 12-foot wall in the Mayfair Mall parking lot early Thursday morning, according to the Wauwatosa Police Department.

Wauwatosa Police Sgt. Luke Vetter said the single-vehicle crash occurred at about 6 a.m.

The car flipped over, and the occupants were taken to Froedtert Hospital with moderate and serious injuries, respectively, he said.

Vetter didn't have the names or ages of the women, and said he couldn't yet say whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
