One person was killed in Kirkwood road ,Atlanta

One person was killed about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in a one-vehicle wreck in the 1700 block of Marshall Road, between Big Bend Road and Timberbrook Drive in Kirkwood, police said.

The victim was identified as Timothy Walker, 25, of the 4000 block of Keokuk Street in St. Louis.

Police said Walker drove his 2002 Oldsmobile Alero off the road, struck an embankment and overturned. Walker was not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No other vehicles or passengers were involved.
