Paducah, KY : Motorcyclist flown to hospital after crash on Sunday, November, 26th 2017

A motorcyclist was flown to Evansville, Indiana, for injuries sustained Sunday after hitting a deer and crashing in Massac County, Illinois State Police reported.

Police said Aric Walquist, 48, of Belknap, Illinois, was driving a 2007 Suzuki north on U.S. 45 at Doug Sumner Lane when a deer walked across the roadway.

Unable to stop in time, Walquist hit the deer.

He was taken to Massac Memorial Hospital and later flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
