Milwaukee, WI : Marquette graduate student seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash on Tuesday, January 20, 2015
A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured late Tuesday when she was hit by a car as she crossed a street near the campus of Marquette University.
The woman was walking across an intersection at N. 17th and W. Wells streets when she was hit by a silver Chevrolet Lumina that continued traveling west on Wells St., according to a police news release.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she continued to received treatment on Wednesday, police said.
The vehicle is described as being a gray or silver Chevy Lumina that may have front-end or windshield damage.
