Kirkland, WA : Driver dies after three-vehicle collision on I-405 near Kirkland on Monday morning, June 6, 2016
One of the drivers involved in a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 405 near Kirkland on Monday morning has died from his injuries, the Washington State Patrol said.
The man, who has not yet been identified, had stopped for traffic near Northeast 124th Street around 10:30 a.m. when his car and a pickup were rear-ended by a Chevrolet Suburban, according to State Patrol spokesman Chris Webb.
Emergency crews were able to pull the man from the vehicle and revive him by using CPR, Webb said. The man later died at a hospital.
