Walpole, MA : Rehoboth man killed in accident on Interstate-95 in Walpole on Saturday night, November 1, 2014

A 55-year-old Rehoboth man was killed in a one-car rollover accident on Interstate 95 Saturday night. Massachusetts State Police said the accident is under investigation by troopers from the Foxboro Barracks. The victim, Martin Vaslet, died at the scene of the crash. He was the driver and sole occupant of the car, according to State Police officials. The accident happened at about 10:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the 20.5 mile marker. Vaslet, who was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta left the road and struck a tree in the median. He was ejected from the car, police said. State Police from Troop H Headquarters, State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, State Medical Examiner's Office, Norfolk County District Attorney's Office, Sharon Fire Department and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation all assisted on scene, police said.
