A 59-year-old woman was struck by a car as she crossed Penn Avenue in West Reading shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, police said.
The woman was taken to Reading Hospital after the accident for pain in her legs, arms and head, West Reading police said. Police did not release her name.
The woman was crossing at the intersection of Penn and Fourth Avenue when she was hit by the vehicle. West Reading Police did not identify the driver.
The borough police are investigating the incident.
