A motorcyclist has been arrested after leading police on a chase that ended when he collided with another vehicle.
The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports (http://bit.ly/2qRP7C6) Adam R. Romaca was arrested Sunday and charged with reckless indifference.
The St. Albans Police Department says in a release that an officer recognized the motorcycle as the same one that fled from police the previous day. The officer attempted to pull over the bike, but the driver didn’t yield and a chase ensued.
The pursuit ended when the bike went the wrong way down a one-way street and collided with another vehicle. The motorcyclist landed on the windshield of the vehicle and then took off on foot before being apprehended.
Authorities say more charges are pending.
