Hill City,MN : Hill City crash injures woman on May, Sunday 6th 2018

A 20-year-old woman was injured Sunday, May 6, when the Chrysler Pacifica she was driving crashed on Highway 200, 2 miles east of Hill City.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Mikayla C. Kamphaus of Nevis was driving west on Highway 200 in Aitkin County, when the Chrysler drove over rumble strips, went into a skid and left the roadway. The vehicle rolled over one tree and came to a rest against a second tree. Kamphaus was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.


The crash was reported at 11:01 p.m.
