Bowling Green, KY : Woman in critical condition after early morning wreck on Wednesday, 7th September 2016
A Bowling Green woman was critically injured in a Wednesday morning wreck on Mount Olivet Road.
Kelli Cowles, 37, was driving a green Jeep west on Mount Olivet Road when the vehicle left the shoulder of the road, struck a mailbox, traveled through several lawns and hit a tree before coming to a final rest at the front porch of a home at 3744 Mount Olivet Road at 6:22 a.m., according to a release from the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Cowles was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center and later flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where she was listed in stable condition as of 3 p.m.
Cowles was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the incident.
