A Eugene woman and a 2-year-old boy died in a fatal crash north of Junction City.
State police say 28-year-old Amanda Wall was in a pickup that collided with a commercial truck Tuesday. The toddler's name has not been released.
The Register-Guard reports that two others in the pickup - 32-year-old Cory Wall and a 3-month-old boy - were injured and taken to a Springfield hospital.
Troopers believe the commercial truck drifted onto the shoulder of Highway 99 while towing a box trailer. The truck then came back onto the highway, and the trailer swayed into the pickup's path.
