York, PA : 4-car crash scene now cleared on I-83 near Strinestown on Thursday, 20th October 2016
A reported four-vehicle crash along Interstate 83 southbound is snarling traffic near the Strinestown/Zions View exit (Exit 28).
It happened about 1:30 p.m. Thursday just north of the southbound exit ramp, according to PennDOT's 511pa.com.
York County 911 radio transmissions indicated one of the vehicles flipped over and ended up in the woods along the interstate. All occupants were able to get out, a dispatcher reported over police radio.
Southbound traffic has been reduced to one lane at the site of the crash, and is backed up more than a mile, 511pa.com traffic cameras show.
Northbound traffic also appears to be slowing at the crash site as well.
