KANSAS CITY, MO : 1 dead in 3-vehicle collision, shutting down I-435 on Monday, 15th July 2024

Just before 11 p.m. on Monday, July 15, Kansas City police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 435 and Bannister Road.

Police said a blue Kawasaki motorcycle was speeding southbound on I-435 when it struck the right rear corner of a white Ford Edge, causing the Kawasaki driver to lose control.

The Kawasaki driver was ejected, throwing him into the guard rail on the west side of the highway just before Bannister Road.

As the Kawasaki motorcycle was coming to rest on the highway, a black Toyota Sienna struck the Kawasaki.
