EAST CLEVELAND, OH : Two people were killed in a fiery three-vehicle crash on Thursday, November, 30th 2017
Two people were killed in a fiery three-vehicle crash late Thursday night in East Cleveland, officials said.
The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. in the intersection of East 125th Street and Superior Avenue, Cleveland police said.
Authorities did not name the deceased people. It's unclear how many people were involved in the crash and if they sustained any injuries.
The cause of the crash was unknown. The site of the crash borders Cleveland and East Cleveland.
The three vehicles were severely damaged. The front ends on two vehicles were nearly gone. Another vehicle was charred from flames. A white sheet was over the driver's side of one vehicle.
Glass, headlights and metal pieces were scattered across the roadway. Onlookers whispered amongst themselves as officers with East Cleveland police and Cleveland police investigated the scene.
The State Highway Patrol also was at the crash, which remains under investigation. Cleveland police are leading the investigation.
