Boise, ID : A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, November, 18th 2017
Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash around 1:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of West Ustick Road and North Five Mile Road, according to a Boise Police Department news release.
Preliminary evidence shows the adult driver of the vehicle was traveling northbound on Five Mile in the southbound lane, police said. After crossing Ustick, she crashed into a traffic light pole and a block retaining wall on the northwest corner of the intersection, according to the news release.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died on scene, police said, and no one else was injured in the crash.
The driver’s identity will be released by the Ada County Corner pending proper notification.
