Leesburg, VA : Five children injured in Chantilly crash on Tuesday, October 4, 2016
Five children were treated Tuesday for minor injuries after the van they were passengers of was t-boned by a Honda at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Center Street in Chantilly.
The van belonged to a local karate business, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reports. It was transporting eight children from a local elementary school.
The crash happened as the van was attempting to make a left turn from northbound Loudoun County Parkway onto Center Street. The driver of the van was charged with failure to yield the right of way.
