ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MI : Driver injured after Allendale Township two-car crash on Tuesday, 5th September 2023

A driver is expected to recover after a two-car crash in Allendale Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened Tuesday on Lake Michigan Drive near Library Lane when a 22-year-old Allendale man entered a Michigan U-turn to go back east, drove into the eastbound lane and crashed into an oncoming Jeep, deputies said.

The driver of the Jeep, a 20-year-old Jenison woman, was injured after her car rolled on its roof, according to the sheriff's office.

She was checked by Allendale Township Fire on scene and decided to go to Corewell Health Zeeland by a private vehicle, deputies said.
