Vestavia Hills, AL : Trevelyn Campbell, 19, dies in accident at Altadena Road and Settlers Lane near parents' home in Vestavia Hills on Friday night, August 22, 2014

A Vestavia Hills teen was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Trevelyn G. Campbell. She was 19. Deputy Coroner Johnny Long said the accident happened about 11 p.m. at the intersection of Altadena Road and Settlers Lane. Campbell, driving a Honda Accord, was struck broadside in the driver's side by a Jeep when she pulled out of the intersection. Police and rescue workers found Campbell still inside the car when they arrived at the crash site. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Long said. It wasn't immediately clear whether there were other injuries. Those in the Jeep are believed to be high school students. Vestavia Hills police Sgt.
