TAMPA, FL : 1 person dead following Tampa crash on Monday, 29th January 2024

A man is dead after he was hit by a suspected drunk driver early Monday in Tampa, according to the Tampa Police Department.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. on eastbound Adamo Drive just past 39th Street. According to police, 23-year-old Mical Scott was driving his 2015 Chevrolet pickup on Adamo Drive at the same time 24-year-old Pannel Datilus was walking in the roadway. Datilus was not in an intersection or crosswalk.
