ASHEBORO, NC : Asheboro man killed after driving car into tree on Wednesday, 5th July 2023

A man died after losing control of his car and striking a tree in Asheboro, NC, according to North Carolina State Troopers.

Tarek Ahmed Mohamed Asar, 36, was driving on Gold Hill Road in a 2006 Kia passenger car, troopers said.

Asar drove off the road to the right and struck a ditch. Troopers said Asar then overcorrected and reentered the roadway.
