Coopersville, MI : Semi-truck runs over, kills Muskegon man at Coopersville dairy plant on Saturday, November 1, 2014
Authorities in western Michigan say that a worker was killed when a tractor-trailer ran over him at the loading dock of a dairy plant.
The Grand Rapids Press says the accident happened about 9:40 p.m. Saturday at Continental Dairy in Coopersville.
Ottawa County sheriff's Sgt. Christie Wendt identifies the victim as 54-year-old Michael Yell of Muskegon.
Wendt says that Yell was helping the driver of a Binkerd Trucking semi unload a trailer at the plant.
The sergeant says that Yell was standing behind the passenger side of the semi's cab when the driver pulled forward and crushed him.
