Troy, MO : Louisiana man injured in truck crash in Lincoln County on Friday morning, August 5, 2016

A Louisiana man was injured in a Friday morning crash in Lincoln County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Sterling septic truck driven by Roy L. Johnston, 48, of Louisiana, was traveling too fast and attempted to turn onto St. Alphonsus Road, south of Highway H, at 10:35 a.m. The truck traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.

Johnston, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, Lake St. Louis (West), with minor injuries.
