Eau Claire, WI : Men involved in a fatal Jackson County crash on Wednesday, January, 3rd 2018
The Wisconsin State Patrol has released the names of the men involved in a fatal Jackson County crash Wednesday.
According to information released by Sgt. Brian Erickson:
Moses Petersheim, 26, of Osseo was fatally injured when the buggy he was operating was struck by a semitrailer truck near Osseo on U.S. 10 near Highway G in the town of Garfield. Petersheim was the lone occupant in the buggy.
The westbound semi, driven by Derek Hedburg of St. Cloud, Minn., and owned by Scherer and Sons Trucking of St. Joseph, Minn., struck the rear of the buggy at about 5:11 p.m. Hedburg, who was wearing a seat belt, wasn’t injured.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
