The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating following a fatal car crash in Colleton County, Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened on December 16 at 3:38 p.m. at Green Pond Highway and Clover Hill Road.
Troopers say, the driver of a Mazda while traveling south, went off the road and struck a tree.
Medics transported the driver and a passenger to a local hospital. The passenger was pronounced dead.
