Middletown, OH : Two people injured in rollover crash on Dixie Highway in Middletown on Monday, April 4, 2016

Two people were taken to a local hospital after a rollover crash in Middletown.
Police and medics were dispatched to the intersection of Manchester Road and Dixie Highway in Middletown just after 5 p.m. on reports of a rollover crash with entrapment.

A blue Kia driving northbound on Dixie Highway made a last minute decision to make a left turn as they approached Manchester Road, Sgt. Robert Burd from the Lebanon Post of the Highway Patrol said.

“The red pick-up truck then struck the Kia causing it to flip over in the intersection,” Burd said. “The driver of the Kia had to be extracted by the fire department.”

The driver of the Kia will most likely be cited with failure to yield, according to Burd.

Two people were taken to Atrium Medical Center. The crash remains under investigation.
