Bullock County, AL : Terrell Sanchase Blakely, 31, killed in a single-vehicle crash in Bullock County on Thursday morning, January 1, 2015

An early morning crash Thursday has claimed the life of a Union Springs man.
Terrell Sanchase Blakely, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash when the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving left the roadway, according to a news release from Alabama State Troopers. The vehicle struck some trees and overturned before catching fire. Blakely was not using a seat belt and pronounced dead at the scene.

Also, a passenger was injured during the accident.

The incident occurred at 1:25 a.m. on U.S. 82 at the 195 mile marker.

Troopers are investigating the accident.
