SHELTON, CT : 2 injured after two-vehicle crash on Route 8 in Shelton on Tuesday, 25th February, 2020

Two people were injured in a northbound crash on Route 8 in Shelton.
Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. 1 said the accident happened at 3:37 p.m. between Exits 12 and 13.
“Upon arrival of Squad 1, a 2 car motor vehicle accident was found in the left median. The operator of one vehicle required extrication by removing the driver's side door. Both operators were transported to the hospital by Echo Hose Ambulance.”
Firefighters also posted a photo of one of the vehicles that was heavily damaged.
