Belmont, CA : Belmont street closed after car crashes into power pole on May 19th 2014

Park Street in Belmont is closed following a crash.

The blockage is in front of Carolinas Healthcare Urgent Care.

A car crashed into a utility pole, split the pole in half and caused power lines to stretch across the road. There is no estimate of how long it will take to clear it up.

At least one person was transported to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of injuries.
