One person was killed Friday after the bicycle they were riding in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood was struck by a dump truck, various news outlets have reported.
Boston Police responded to reports of a collision between a bicyclist and vehicle near 80 East Cottage St. just before 2 p.m., NBC Boston reported.
The bicyclist, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead on scene, according to the news outlet.
The driver of the truck, which is reportedly registered to Ace Trucking in Exeter, New Hampshire, remained on scene and cooperated with police, according to the Boston Herald.
Police told the newspaper that no charges had been filed in connection with the crash.
