Phoenix, AZ : Motorcyclist injured in crash on OCtober 10th 2014.

Phoenix Police are investigating a crash involving a motorcyclist who earlier had fled from a police officer. The officer tried to stop the motorcycle near 51st Ave & McDowell for a traffic violation, when the rider did not stop the officer stopped following the vehicle. A short time later police got the call that the rider crashed into another vehicle at 51st Ave & Thomas. Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash between the car and the motorcycle rider. The rider was taken to a valley hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
