KANSAS CITY, MO : Driver arrested after mother infant pistol-whipped during drive through KC on Thursday, 4th September 2024
One man is behind bars after he allegedly pistol-whipped a mother and infant as he kept them in a vehicle at gunpoint while he drove through Kansas City.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records indicate that on Thursday, Sept. 5, Deamonte L. Oliver, 24, of Kansas City, was charged in connection to a disturbance that started in a vehicle.
Court documents noted that just before 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department received a 911 call from an individual in a vehicle near 23rd and Manchester Trafficway.
Law enforcement officials reported they could hear a woman crying in the background that their baby had been in the car when he put his hands on her. The man could be heard saying he would kill them repeatedly as the woman urged him to take a firearm out of her face.
