Police released new details in a deadly hit-and-run Tuesday morning in Huntington, and said they have seized the car involved in the incident.
Taylor Bocook, 30, of Milton was hit and killed about 2 a.m. Tuesday morning near 30th Street and Fifth Avenue, according to the Huntington Police Department.
A blue 2023 Kia Soul was seized by police Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle, however, is not in custody.
Lara Lawson, who normally drives in the area, said tragic incidents like this could be avoided.
