NASHVILLE, TN : Moped driver injured in crash on Charlotte Pike on Wednesday, 5th October 2016

A moped driver was injured in a crash on Charlotte Pike on Wednesday morning.

The driver told police a car pulled out in front of her around 6 a.m. between Westboro Drive and American Road.

The 58-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic is backed up in both directions as crews work to clear the scene.
