If the driver accused of killing 13 church members in a deadly crash makes bond, he would be prohibited from going out at night and would have to submit to a weekly drug test, among other conditions, officials said Thursday.
Jack D. Young of Leakey surrendered Wednesday evening at the Uvalde County Jail on 13 two-count indictments alleging intoxication manslaughter and manslaughter, and one two-count indictment alleging intoxication assault/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury in connection with the March 29 head-on collision.
Young, 20, is being held under bonds totaling $380,000 on the indictments issued Monday by a Uvalde County grand jury. He is expected to be arraigned July 20 or 21.
