Sacramento,CA : Woman dies in collision on Wible Road on October, Sunday 1st 2017

A woman died Sunday night in a traffic collision at the intersection of Rawhide Road and Wible Road, authorities said.

BPD officers responded to the incident at about 8:05 p.m. where they found two vehicles in the intersection.

Bakersfield Fire Department and Hall Ambulance declared the woman deceased at the scene.

A man was in the other vehicle suffering from minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

BPD said in a news release the man was driving northbound on Wible Road when the woman drove her car from the shoulder into the path of the northbound vehicle.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor for the man, but it is unknown if drugs or alcohol are a factor for the woman, according to BPD.
