TOPEKA, KS : Traffic backed up on I-70 due to car crash on July, Wednesday 26th 2017

An injury accident on I-70 causes major traffic near downtown Topeka.

The accident happened around 4:45 on Wednesday between the Adams and California Street exits.

Police are directing traffic to exit I-70 eastbound at Adams Street as they clear the scene.

Dispatch tells KSNT News that minor injuries from the crash were reported.
