OROVILLE, CA : 1 dead, 1 arrested following single car crash in Oroville on Saturday, 24th February 2024

One person is dead after a car hit a bridge in South Oroville on Saturday at around 4 a.m., CHP Chico said.

The car was traveling eastbound on Kusel Road when it went off the roadway and hit the bridge.

CHP said it is unknown why this happened and the crash is still under investigation.

The driver and one of the passengers were able to get out of the car and transport themselves to the hospital, CHP said.
