Ocean City ,MD: Two pedestrians sent to hospital after being hit by car on Saturday afternoon ,July 11th 2015

Two people have been taken to a hospital after they were struck by a vehicle in Ocean City.

Police say it happened Saturday afternoon near 2nd street and Baltimore street. Investigators say one vehicle apparently tried to make a lane change but hit a car. The car that was hit swerved into the sidewalk and hit two pedestrians.

Police say a man and a woman were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
