1 Killed, 2 Injured In Fiery Crash On 10 Freeway In Santa Monica in Los Angeles California

An investigation was Saturday in Santa Monica to determine what caused a deadly crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, authorities said.One person was killed when a 2001 Ford Mustang slammed into a wall near the McClure Tunnel on the westbound side of the freeway, and burst into flames around 1:35 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.Two other people in the Mustang were injured, authorities said.The two injured victims were taken to area hospitals.Their conditions were not known.
