Walton Way, GA : Coroner's office investigating fatal Walton Way crash on Walton Way at Russell Street on Monday, 16th July 2018

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred Monday on Walton Way at Russell Street.

At 6:47 p.m., Carl Daniels Jr., 45, of the 3000 block of Crest Drive, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro east on Walton Way when he crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle, according to Coroner Mark Bowen.

Daniels was pronounced dead at AU Medical Center at 7:15 p.m., Bowen said.
