Conroe,TX : ATV crash victim ID'd as longtime Conroe businessman on may, friday 5th 2017

The man who died in what officials called a tragic accident has been identified as longtime Conroe businessman Gary Calfee.
The 70-year-old Calfee was riding shotgun on an all-terrain vehicle on some property in the 24000 block of Texas 105 Sunday. As the driver of the ATV was going down a slight grade, the vehicle flipped over, pinning Calfee, according to Montgomery County Sheriff's Capt. Bryan Carlisle.
Carlisle said others on the property ran to assist the driver with lifting the ATV off Calfee, who was fatally injured. Medics with the Montgomery County Hospital District responded and found no pulse.
Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack said Calfee was a good man who was well known in Montgomery County.
"He was an outstanding, well-respected businessman and community leader," Mack said. "He's had a tremendous impact on our community."
Law enforcement suspected no foul play, officials said.
Auto-Pedestrian Crash
In another tragic scene over the weekend, a Magnolia man died while walking on Texas 249 when he was struck by a car.
Jesus Segura, 34, walked into the northbound lane of the highway shortly after 10 p.m. Friday before being struck by a northbound Suburban. Segura reportedly had been drinking before the collision, Mack said. The teen driver submitted to a voluntary blood test.
