Charlotte, NC : Two people injured and driver of an SUV says problems with his brakes caused a crash on Sunday night August 31st 2014

The driver of an SUV says problems with his brakes caused a crash in East Charlotte. It happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday night at the intersection of Norland Road and Central Avenue. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police tells WBTV the SUV went through the red light, then hit a taxi cab causing it to roll over. Two people were taken to the hospital. They're expected to be ok.
