Baltimore, MD : One person injured in six-vehicle crash on I-95 in near the line between Baltimore on Saturday morning, January 31, 2015
One person suffered a minor injury in a six-vehicle collision that required a hazardous materials response and temporarily closed southbound Interstate 95 on Saturday morning, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
No other injuries were reported.
The accident occurred about 10:37 a.m. near the line between Baltimore and Harford counties, the fire company said.
One of the vehicles involved in the collision was a tractor trailer that had a fuel tank punctured, requiring a hazardous materials unit to respond to pump off diesel fuel from the tank, the fire company said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Maryland State Police, the fire company said.
