Davis, CA : Sacramento woman dies in crash on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016

A 43-year-old Sacramento woman died Monday from injuries she sustained two days earlier in a Yolo County crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers said Patte Thomas was driving on Old River Road south of County Road 124 at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday when for unknown reasons the vehicle drifted to the right off the roadway. Thomas then veered back to the left, causing the vehicle to overturn across the roadway.
Thomas was taken with major injuries to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where she later died. The collision remains under investigation.
