Tallahassee, FL : Pedestrian killed in Ocala hit-and-run on Tuesday, December, 19th 2017

A man was struck by an unknown vehicle at the 4800 block of southwest College Road and later died of his injuries early Tuesday morning, the Ocala Police Department stated.The man was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center and died around 2:10 a.m. from his injuries, according to Meghan Shay, the department's public information officer, in a news release.

The man's name has not been released and no description was given to the make and model of the vehicle.
